This article describes how to check the storage usage for a Microsoft 365 domain.
Storage usage determines the size of your infrastructure and helps Afi plan your on-boarding and offer you a custom (discounted) quote.
1. Log in Office 365 administrator panel and head to Reports → Usage
2. To estimate the total storage used by a Microsoft 365 domain, you need to sum up Exchange, OneDrive and Sharepoint storage usage. See the description of how to get the storage usage for each of these services below.
Exchange
To find the Exchange space usage, go to https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal/Home?#/reportsUsage/MailboxUsage and check the Mailbox usage → Storage chart. Please note that user and shared mailbox usage is split into two charts so you will need to look them up separately.
OneDrive
To find out the OneDrive space usage, go to https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal/Home?#/reportsUsage/OneDriveSiteUsage and check the Usage → Storage chart.
Sharepoint
To find out the Sharepoint sites space usage (including Group and Team Sites), go to https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal/Home?#/reportsUsage/SharePointSiteUsageV1 and check the Site usage → Storage chart.
