Afi SaaS backup provides comprehensive support for Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Groups & Teams, and Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) data.
Exchange Online
Afi offers Exchange Online (email, contacts, calendars, tasks) backup, archiving, and recovery for user, shared, resource (room), and group mailboxes. As a part of Exchange Online backup, Afi also supports Online Archive and Recoverable Items data backup (configurable as a part of backup SLA policy settings).
Afi provides rich backup browse and full-text search capabilities as well as granular restore and export options for Exchange Online data fully preserving messages metadata and label structure. Supported export formats include:
- PST for email, contacts, calendar, and tasks data;
- MBOX and EML for email data;
- VCF for contacts data;
- ICS for calendar data.
OneDrive and OneNote
Afi offers OneDrive and OneNote backup support with granular restore and export options, supporting user-to-user and user-to-site recovery. OneDrive data recovery preserves original file/folder structure as well as file creation and modification dates.
SharePoint
Afi offers comprehensive SharePoint site data and metadata backup, including Document/Page libraries, Lists, and sub-sites. SharePoint data recovery supports cross-site and same site restore preserving original site structure, custom columns, views, content types, and permissions.
Teams & Groups
Afi offers complete Team channels and chat backup, including private and shared channels, file attachments, static and animated images linked to chat and channels messages. Afi users can export Team data in HTML format or recover channels to a new Team preserving original message metadata (sender, creation date), message structure and formatting (adaptive cards), and message attachments.
Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID)
Afi provides complete support for Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) users, groups, roles, conditional access policies, sign-in and audit logs, enterprise applications and application registrations, devices and device-related Intune policies, including all the related metadata fields as well as ownership/membership settings backup and recovery.
if you have installed the Afi application before 24th January 2024, please re-grant the application access to your Microsoft 365 tenant as described here to enable roles, conditional access policies, sign-in and audit logs as well as devices backup.
